HBO has released eight True Blood Season 2 Character posters featuring many of our favorite characters from the series in their contiued promotional push for season 2 of the series.

Variations of these posters are being posted as billboards in larger cities and thanks to forum member Tanya C. (Of TMC’s Disgn Haus) we’ve got fifteen shots of them as found in New York City.

HBO has released 3 new promotional posters for Season 2 of True Blood. The posters feature a sexy sillouette of some vampire "necking" and include the phrases "Ready To Be Bitten Again?", "Ready For new Blood?" and "Ready For Seconds?". You can view these photos in the True Blood Marketing Gallery.

On line advertisements are, also, appearing on vaious websites using varations of the same images.

Courtesy of the kind folks at HBO, several new promotional photos of the regular True Blood cast have been added to the site. These include what I believe to be the first official picture of Alexander Skarsgard portraying Eric Nothman, co-owner of the vampire bar Fangtasia.

Photos have been added to the updated Cast & Crew section of the site along with larger versions in the Season 1 Photo Gallery.

Posters from the American Vampire League and the Fellowship Of The Sun have been posted in major cities for several weeks now. I’ve managed to get my hands on digital versions of the posters themselves and they are now available in the “Vampire Rights Amendment” Gallery. More photos from the street will be posted shortly, so keep checking back!

Fangtasia, the infamous vampire bar in Shreveport, Louisiana will be hosting a party August 9th, 2008 - “The Black Masquerade” ball. A flyer for the event is now in our Photo Gallery. It will be “A night of music, drinking, and making new acquaintences”. Please be aware there is NO biting on the premises. Our friend Andrew over at Bloodcopy.com even received a phone call from Eric Northman, the bar’s proprietor, alerting him to the event.

Thanks to forum member Tanya (of TMC’s Design Haus), we have a botload of new photos in Marketing section of the True Blood Photo Gallery. First up are a bunch of new pictures in the Vampire Rights Amendment Gallery. These are of the latest American Vampire League Posters that now feature graffiti meant to demonize the good will of the AVL. Also, included are pictures of posters for the infamous bloodcopy.com website, asking “Where were you in vampires came out?”...

As of July 30th, it appears Louisiana has it’s very own vampire-friendly bar & nightclub called “FANGTASIA”. The proprietor’s names are Pam and Eric and sources are reporting they are, indeed, vampires themselves. Courtesy of BloodCopy, we have a photo of their promotional flyer in our Photo Gallery along with a photo of Fangtasia itself. If you happen to be in the Shreveport/Bon Temps area then you may want to find the location of this bar and stop by for a drink! This bar is featured in HBO’s upcoming True Blood TV Show.

A BloodCopy.com reader recently interviewed a vampire named Pam who enjoys living her life openly among friends. BloodCopy thinks it’s the same Pam.

HBO has finally released a poster directly promoting the True Blood TV Series itself. Carrying the tag line “Thou Shall Not Crave Thy Neighbor”, it manages to be both deliciously creepy and sexy at the same time.

The advertising department behind Tru Blood has been producing an amazing amount of viral marketing materials. Beyond the previously mentioned Tru Blood mailings, videos and online ARG style sites, they have been taking out print ads in major magazines and blanketing the streets of larger cities with numerous posters (copies of many are available for downloads as PDF from http://trubeverage.com ).
