You might remember when HBO advertised the fictional TruBlood drink, well now they’ve made the real thing!

HBO is launching a new TruBlood Beverage this weekend, starting at 6pm (PST) on Saturday, 7/25. It’s a Blood Orange flavored carbonated beverage, “All Flavor. No Bite.” The HBO Store will be the exclusive provider:

Despite only having aired one episode so far, True Blood Season 2 is now available for pre-order on DVD and Blu-Ray!

As of May 19th, 2009 True Blood Season 1 is available for purchase on iTunes. Each episode can be purchased seperately, however if you buy those whole season at once you will receive a free behind-the-scenes special called "Making True Blood".

It appears that Best Buy is giving away the pilot episode of True Blood as part of a special offer beginning this week.

According to their website “Now, when you grab an HBO title, you can get a free DVD with the first episode of the stunning new vampire series, True Blood.”

Thanks to forum member Tanya C. (“tmc&rdquo, who also stated that her local Best Buy location would not have the discs in until Tuesday August 26th, 2008.
