"I haven't seen it," Sam Trammell, who plays bar owner Sam Merlotte on HBO's hit vampire series, tells me. "I haven't read the books. I should though, just so I can answer questions about it."
Not that True Blood's and Twilight's audiences completely overlap. "The sense I get is Twilight is PG and ours is bordering on NC-17," Trammell says. ---
